Family Saturdays at the History Museum: Make Historic Clothing

November 9, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Love dressing up? Come make your own accessories inspired by historic clothing! Craft a 1920s-style feathered flapper headband, a Victorian bowtie, or a military-style paper hat. Then explore the exhibit LBD: Little Black Dress, A Fashion Evolution, which explores the history of self-expression through fashion by looking at the history of the little black dress.
Family Saturdays are scheduled from 1:00-3:00 PM on the second Saturday of each month and feature hands-on activities inspired by local history. Activities are designed for children ages 4-12 but all ages are welcome!
