An event every week that begins at 8:30am on Friday, repeating until December 21, 2018
A 6-week Gentle Yoga series for older adults. Students will be encouraged to move at their own pace. The focus will be yogic philosophy, range of motion, building strength and balance, breathing techniques, and relaxation. Students need to bring a yoga mat, a bath towel, a hand towel, and a blanket. A yoga strap and a yoga block would be nice but not necessary. Interested students need to be able to get down to the floor and back up unassisted. Clothing: comfortable, loose, or stretchy.
